A Monotype is a one-of-a-kind print. There is only one. I create them by manipulating the ink on a smooth metal printing plate and by adding and subtracting the objects from my garden. The image then gets transferred to paper by putting it through a printmaking press. By pressing the ink & paper together with the pigments sandwiched in between, I am able to create textures not possible using other printmaking techniques. They are printed with a custom mixture of oil-based inks to create rich unique colours that mirror nature on Stonehenge Archival Printmaking Paper.
They range in size from (9"h x 6"w to 11.625"h x 9"w)
