These flower prints are inspired and sketched from flowers in my own garden!
These images were drawn directly into an acrylic plexiglass plate using an Etching needle. The plate was then inked, excess ink was wiped away, and the remaining ink in the grooves of the plate was printed onto the paper as it went through an etching press. It is printed with custom coloured oil-based ink on 1618 Arnheim Archival Printmaking Paper. Colour was added to the flower blooms using watercolour paints or à la poupée inking techniques.
These are limited editions of 12 prints
Each print is signed and numbered with variations in the handcoloured blooms
